In October 2006 Kim and Shane joined the popular dating site Eharmony. Kim accidentally chose the wrong age range and they were matched. They talked on the phone for a while (3 days) and decided to go on their first date.

The first date was dinner at Longhorn's steakhouse. Kim - BBQ chicken salad....Shane - Ribs. Kim and Shane have been together ever since.

About 7 months into the relationship, things got a little rough. At this time, Shane's truck blew up and it forced Kim and Shane to live together for carpooling purposes. We say that this was God's way of saying...."Hey, I dont THINK so!!"

Kim and Shane now reside at their home in Acworth, GA.

We attended some friends' of ours wedding in Jamaica and fell in love with the atmosphere. Neither one of us wanted a big church wedding and we wanted everyone to have fun. So, we booked Jamaica at an all inclusive resort and EVERYONE is invited! Our wedding will be at sunset on the beach.

Oh yeah, the date is September 12th, 2009!

Our current reception plans include an informal PARTY at the civic center in Powder Springs, GA two weeks after we return from Jamaica. We are keeping the theme a secret. We want everyone to be relaxed and have a good time. No stuffy atmosphere.

Everyone is invited to our wedding in Jamaica. Each room requires double occupancy. This is all inclusive. That means....you get to the airport...and you dont spend a dime until you get home. Well, I lied a little bit. You tip $1 per bag at the Montego Bay airport.

All airfare, taxes, surcharges, hotel, liquor, food, watersports, activities are included. Kim and I went a few weeks ago and spend $40....just because we ran out of sunscreen and bought some trinkets.

We will be staying at Couples Swept Away in Negril.

This is how your vacation would break down:

-Fly out of Atlanta

-Land in montego bay...go through customs....immediately start drinking free beer

-Take a 1.5 hour van ride through some very scenic areas of Jamaica (bring your free beer)

-pit stop if necessary

-arrive at resort, free champagne at check in

-go to your room

-do whatever you want for the next 3-5-7 days.

Free stuff included: sailing, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, booze cruise, cliff diving, water skiing/wakeboarding/tubing, kayaking, paddle boat, volleyball games. You can get a drink at one of the 8 bars around the resort...almost whenever you want...and you DONT PAY OR TIP. You can eat ALL DAY if you want. The only room service available is breakfast.

Not free stuff, but fun: Casino, jet skiing, parasail, dune buggying, ATVing, horseback riding, Canopy tour/zip lining, ocean safari, night snorkeling, night scuba.

The garden room is very basic. No TV, no mini fridge, but still very nice. The Verandah rooms come with a flat screen TV and a free minibar that is stocked daily with wine, beer, liquor, juice, soda, and water.

Deposit will vary based on room/days. You can make payments throughout the year. There are NO children at this resort. A passport is required.
