Glenn and Lisa have known each other for over 10 years now. We met through a mutual friend and also worked together at the YMCA (Lisa worked at the front desk and Glenn in the ice rink.) We hung out with a group of friends, but that was it at that time. Over the years, we saw each other more and started hanging out a lot more-sometimes with a group, other times alone. Finally one night, Lisa's roommate at the time made her tell Glenn her true feelings-that she liked Glenn more than just a friend. Luckily, the feeling was mutual and here we are today. Glenn proposed to Lisa on December 17th, 2005. It was a cute proposal at home (and a surprise, even though Lisa knew it was coming soon.) We are planning our wedding for May 5th, 2007.

We will be getting married at Lombard Christian Reformed Church in Lombard, IL. The ceremony will begin at 3:00pm. The church is located at 2020 S. Meyers Rd. It is on the corner of Meyers Rd and 22nd. (Near the Fountain Square.)

Our reception will be held at Villa Nova Restaurant and Banquets in Villa Park, IL (off of St. Charles Rd just east of Addison Rd.) The reception will begin at 5:30pm with drinks and appetizers. We will be enjoying a chicken dinner and will have an open bar. Get ready to have a fun time dancing!! There will be free shuttle services available to local hotels (more information to follow.)

We cannot begin to explain how excited we are to share this special day with our family and friends. Everyone means so much to us and we can't wait to see you on May 5th!!
