We first laid eyes on each other in room 120 Greenbelt Middle School, Maryland. David was sitting in front me and I thought to myself “he has beautiful white teeth and his skin glows”. It made me wonder what his story was. David on the other hand thought, “I wish she would stop asking so many questions”. After a few more days of me asking him if we had a team meeting, I stopped, because he would always answer me with a smile and a crazy look. The next time we spoke it was during an in-service day at school; I asked him who braided his hair and he answered “why does it look bad?” I said no, but clearly I can do a better job and I gave him my number. He called, set up an appointment and came over. From that day on, we became the very best of friends.

On our spare time we love to plan and take trips visiting the lands that God has created for us. So when we say our “I Do’s” we decided, why not take a trip and take those we love on an adventure. We will become Mr. & Mrs. on August 7, 2008 at 7pm sharp, at the beautiful Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Resorts, Dominican Republic. We chose this destination for many reasons. One reason for me is, my family is from Haiti and it means a lot to me to get married on the land that Haiti once owned. Most importantly, we dare to be different.
We ask that all attendees dress in your finest white or cream linen.

We know that 7:45 is late, but who keeps time while on vacation. Plus, once the sun goes down, a new day is in the horizon. There will be plenty to eat and drink, so come and celebrate our union as husband and wife.

To reserve your place in the sun, please contact Mr. Hensley Massop or Alfreda Massop at:

Konsa, yo pa de ankò, men yo fè yon sèl kò. Se poutèt sa, pesonn moun pa gen dwa separe sa Bondye mete ansanm.”
AsГ que ya no son dos, sino uno solo. Por tanto, lo que Dios ha unido, que no lo separe el hombre.
Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”
Matthew 19:6
