Jason and I met when we both worked at Med Tec Ambulance service in Claremore. He was a supervisor and I had heard that while he was liked, he was a jerk. So, based on that, I didn't like him. Every morning when I was coming on shift and he was going off, he would stand at the back of the ambulance while my partner and I were checking it out and visit with my parther. I now know that he was actually trying to flirt with me, but I wouldn't even talk to him, so he thought I was a snob. One morning, I had to ask him a question about a piece of equipment that was on the ambulance. He was very nice when he answered, so I started changing my opinion about him. I had thought he was a good-looking guy from the first time I saw him. So, I found out that he was single and one day on my day off while he was on shift, went to the station to "check my schedule." He and I talked for over an hour. I had told him that I was going shopping and he asked what I was going to buy him. I asked what he was going to do for me if I bought him something. He said that he would take me to dinner. So, that night I bought him some candy and put it with a note that said "Call me when you're ready to take me to dinner," on the nightstand by the bed that I thought he was sleeping in that night. A week went by and I didn't hear a thing from him. I worked with him a week later and he was just as flirty as he had been and even persuaded me to go to a co-workers birthday party later that week. He even found someone to work for me so that I could go. So, I asked him if he even got the candy I left for him. He hadn't. Come to find out, I had put the candy in the wrong room and some of the other guys had found it and hid it from Jason. We went to our co-workers birthday party and he asked me out to dinner and we went on our first date on Valentines Day 2005. We went to dinner and a movie and we weren't ready for the date to end so we had some drinks and just talked. It was a fun first date and we're still having fun together.
Thank you so much for this gift. We cannot wait to enjoy this wonderful honeymoon!
