Our friendship began in March 2007. We were introduced by our mutual friend, Geoff, at a bowling alley in Fresno, CA. In Robert’s exact words, it was love a first sight! From our first date we became inseparable! We spent every minute we could with each other and fell in love almost immediately. There was never a doubt in either of our minds that we were each others soul mates!
On June 29, 2007, Robert asked for permission to marry me. The very next day in Jenner, CA, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Robert proposed! It was in the presence of our parents, who could not be more supportive of our relationship. That moment will always stay captured in our hearts.
We have continued to fall in love with each other more and more each day. It is without reservation that we can say we are truly best friends and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together.
Our outdoor wedding will take place in Pacific Grove, California (near Monterey). The ceremony location is at Lover’s Point Park, a cliff side overlooking the ocean. It is located conveniently two and half hours from both our home towns (Windsor and Fresno). The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm.
Our reception will take place immediately following the ceremony. It will be held at Latitude’s Restaurant, directly across the street from Lover’s Point Park. Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be served from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.
We have reserved several rooms at the Deer Haven Inn. They are reserved under the: Maffia/Gillam Wedding Party

$143.00 per Queen/Queen Guest Room per night
$134.00 per King Guest Room per night
All rooms and suites are non-smoking. Your room or suite includes Continental breakfast. These rooms have been carefully appointed with your comfort in mind.
Reservations:
Reservations will be handled by individuals calling to make their own reservations. The rooms and rates will be honored until the final cut-off date, July 11, 2008. Any reservations received after this cut-off date or when your room block has been filled will be honored on a space and rate availability basis only. The Deer Haven Inn & Suites has a two night minimum for all weekends.

There is no charge for guest parking.

2.) Check-out time is 11:00am
3.) If guest is responsible for any portion of their stay, a valid credit card will be required upon check-in, which will be authorized for the estimated expenses incurred by the guest based on their length of stay.
