Teresa and I met in Newport Harbor on the 4th of July last year. So we thought it only fitting to get married in Newport Harbor, plus we thought it might be pretty cool to cruise the harbor on a huge yacht during the wedding and reception.
I proposed to Teresa on Christmas Eve at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Ok, it was the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, but it was the closest thing to the real deal. I had actually planned on proposing to Teresa in Vegas on her birthday in October, but I thought three months might be rushing things so I put it off until December. What can I say I knew she was the one from the very beginning. Lucky for me, she felt the same.
Teresa and I have many things in common. We enjoy and love spending time with our family, Whether it's barbecuing at the house or taking the nieces and nephews out for a day of fun. Family is our first priority. Other things we have in common. We both like the outdoors. We both enjoy the beach and the mountains. If you know me then you know that surfing and skiing are my two favorite sports. Teresa had her first surfing lesson a couple months ago. She also had a ski lesson at Mammoth Mountain this year.
For Teresa and me it was definitely love at first sight. I met her on a Wednesday and our first date was the following Saturday. The sparks were flying from the second we met. Our first date was a drive down to Laguna with the top down for a sunset on the beach. From the beginning it had felt like we had known each other for years.
Our future goals are to travel, spend quality time with our friends and family, and to start a family soon.
If you are on this site then you probably already know most of the details about our wedding, but here is some additional information. The location is on the yacht "Destiny" in Newport Harbor. Directions were included in the invitation, however if you need additional information please call Electra Cruises at 949.566.0278. Please be dockside on Friday, July 25th at 6:15pm. The yacht will board at 6:15pm and depart at 6:30pm SHARP and will wait for no one. The recommended attire is semi-formal to formal. Please no jeans, T-shirts, or sneakers
The reception will be held immediately following the wedding ceremony on the yacht "Destiny". Directions will be provided if necessary following the wedding. They will consist of something like this; "Take the elevator to the second floor and to the right."
