Vickie's version-
I first met Maurice 2 1/2 years ago on Lake Catherine. We both have a love for the water and have a group of friends who love to water ski as we do. At that time we were both in other relationships and were happy. As fate often does she took over and both relationships ended. We met again 6 months ago on Lake Catherine, while water skiing with our friends. I had just completed school to be a massage therapist and was waiting for my license to arrive, when Maurice asked what I charged for a massage. I told him a dollar a minute, and the next thing I know I am massaging his back on the side of the lake after he had skied. It was later that week that I got a phone call from our friend who tells me that she gave my cell phone number to Maurice, and that he was going to call me. I told her that this was fine and when he called I would talk to him. When he called he asked me to dinner at P.F. Chang's on a Thursday night. I agreed to have dinner and the rest is history.

Well plans for the reception are still in progress. Here's what we have so far, we will be having a Cake and Champaign toast following the ceremony in the Terrace at the resort. We will only do a few of the traditional wedding reception things, like the first dance, garter toss and a special dance with the wonderful man giving me away. Then it is party time.

Our plans have been set. We will be staying at the resort until Sunday the 8th, at which time we will head to the airport in the early afternoon and catch a plane for Jamaica. Were we will be spending 5 days on the island and returning home on Saturday the 12th as Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Allen. What a nice ring that has to it.

Maurice and I would like to thank all of our friends, new ones and ones that have been with us for a while. If it were not for all of you, our lives would probably be a little boring. You all have such kind hearts, and it wonderful knowing that you will be joining us as we start our lives together.
