Jacob and Ureka been members of the same church for more than fifteen years. However, we never caught each other's eye. Our strong love for God is what brought us together. And this was notice during one group study after church. We talked about ministering to others and how God continues to lead us in daily lives. We learned very quickly that were soulmates. We took four seasons to learn each other. We enjoyed walks on the beach downtown Chicago, candlelight dinners, Sporting Events (White Sox and Bears Games), Robin Thicke concert, and many countless romantic gestures.
On October 6 2007, Jacob asked Ureka's hand in marriage after the play, Love, Lies, and Gossip (Lisa Raye and Clifton Powell) in New York City. Ureka happily accepted. The trip was truly a romantic, memorable event.
We enjoy making music together. While C'Critt (Jacob's stage name) plays sax and piano tunes, most people are unaware of Ureka's piano and vocal talent. In the midst of all this wedding planning, Ureka have been studying to obtain a Masters degree in Industrial/Organization Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Ureka is also the CEO of her company Jersauni's Creations Gift Baskets and Wedding Accessories. It's been a long time coming, but it's here! Ureka will be a proud military wife; Curtis is a sergeant in the military service.
We will be joined in holy matrimony 6.22.08 Sunday at SilverLake Country Club Orland Park, IL. Maps and directions to the ceremony site will be included in the wedding invitations.
Our wedding ceremony will begin at 11:00 am sharp.
We request that your wardrobe is formal.
Only RSVP will be honored at the wedding. Please RSVP for an accurate head count before June 8, 2008. If RSVP is not received before requested date, you will not be admitted into the wedding ceremony or reception.
Immediately after the wedding ceremony, the reception will be held at the same place SilverLake Country Club. Our guest will be escorted to the reception via our wedding coordinator in an orderly fashion. Hors D'oeuvres will be served and the open bar will be available for 45 minutes while the wedding party takes pictures. The wedding show will begin after the DJ announces the newly weds. At this time, the bar will be closed and h'douveres will not be served during our performance. Hors D'oeuvres and open bar will be served following the performance.

Our flight for Miami Florida departs from Midway Airport at 5:45 pm on 6.22.08. We will spend a romantic night at the Embassy Suites in Miami Florida. We will board the Cruise on the following day to Cozumel and Keywest Mexico for 4 days and 3 nights. We will enjoy a breath-taking ocean view, beautiful sunsets, massages, and formal dining. Upon our return to Miami Florida, will spend the rest of the weekend at the Embassy Suites.
