After learning how to dance at the Eclipse, I started going out. I noticed James and his face looked so familiar to me. For weeks, I could not figure how I knew him. About two weeks later he spotted me and refreshed my memory. It had been about 15 years since I last saw him. From that day on, James would ask me to dance. Christmas 1997, I went out to dance and James gave me his number and I lost it. I felt bad about not calling him so I avoided the Eclipse. Three weeks later, my sister Pat called and wanted to go to the happy hour at the Eclipse. I told her why I could not go. So we decided that we would go and that I could hide from James in the club. This was successful until, they played the song “Booty Call” James spotted me and we have been together ever since that day.

On Friday, June 30, 2006 at 6:30 p.m., James and I will exchange our wedding vows in the Diplomat Room of the Washington Plaza Hotel, 10 Thomas Circle, Washington, D.C.

After our ceremony, you will be escorted to the poolside for hors d’oeuvres. Our cocktail reception will follow the hors d’oeuvres in the Federal Hall room with great music and dancing. Rooms are available at a special rate-just mention the Key-Smallwood/Moore Wedding.

Our honeymoon will take place in Las Vegas! We are planning on eating lots of good food, a little gambling, taking in a few show, and site seeing. We are going to do some bowling because there is a bowling alley located in our casino hotel along with a movie theater.
