At age 10, Jarkko moved from Varkaus, Finland to Atlanta, GA, USA where his family has now lived for 17 years. Auburn University was his college of choice, and he furthered his education in Austin at the University of Texas with a Masters of Engineering. He left Austin after graduation to work in Washington D.C. And just one short year later he sought out a position with Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, and they sent him to Austin in June 2005. Brenn is a 9th generation Floridian and mother of her beautiful daughter Morgan. She has been in the Real Estate and Mortgage industry for almost a decade. In May 2005, she was transferred to Austin and is currently with Mortgages US. Our story is simple; distances traveled, perfect timing, job transfers, and all in God's gentle hands.
Our first date was boating on Lake Travis. Our first kiss was swimming in Lake Travis. Our first "I love you" was a sunset picnic at Lake Travis. Therefore, it is only perfect that we promise a lifetime of love amongst the natural beauty of the lake. Just as the sun dawns a new day, the morning rays will light the dawning of our life as one. On June 4th, 2006 we will have a 9am ceremony with family and friends on board the "Utopia", a private 80' houseboat , while touring the lake.
While on board we will enjoy momosas along with a delectable brunch menu. The Utopia will depart the marina at 9am SHARP, and will stop at the marina at 12:30pm for those who need to leave early. If you would like to bring swimsuits and towels, and stay on board for the afternoon, the boat will return to the marina at 3pm.
Traveling into Austin? Fly into AUS -Austin Bergstrom International Airport . You can easily book your flight, hotel, and rental car on www.LiveLoveLaughTravel.com. You'll find several hotels in the Arboretum Area. However, the closest hotel to our home is Extend-a-stay Deluxe on Jollyville Rd/183 North.
